I cannot log in due to SIM blocking, what should I do?

To log in with two-factor authentication, you must remove your SIM block. You can remove your SIM block by using one of the following methods:

1. Recovery email address
If you have a registered and verified email address in the e-Government Gateway, you can enter the verification code sent to this email to remove your SIM block. For this process, log in to the e-Government Gateway with your password or through internet banking, then click on the “Remove with Recovery Email” button.

2. Login with mobile signature, e-signature, or smart ID card
If you can log in to the e-Government Gateway with a mobile signature, electronic signature, or smart ID card, you can remove your SIM block after logging in. To do this, go to the “My Communication Preferences” page, click “Edit”, and re-verify your mobile phone number.

3. Identity verification via NFC technology
If you verify your mobile number with your ID card using NFC technology, your SIM block will be removed.

4. Through Garanti Bank or Akbank ATMs
If you are a Garanti Bank or Akbank customer, you can remove your SIM block via the “e-Government Gateway SIM Card Block Removal” option at the bank’s ATMs.

5. Through PTT branches or Türksat Cable Subscriber Centers
You can have the SIM block removed by visiting any PTT branch or Türksat Cable Subscriber Center with your ID.
6. Through Nüfusmatik kiosks
Using your smart ID card, you can remove your SIM block at Nüfusmatik kiosks. You can view the nearest Nüfusmatik kiosk locations at https://www.nvi.gov.tr/nufusmatik-noktalari.
